Course Details


This course provides a practical introduction to food safety and quality management in the food processing environment. It covers key concepts such as food contamination, spoilage, cross-contamination, and the prevention of foodborne illnesses, along with the application of prerequisite programs and HACCP principles.


Participants will also gain an understanding of food allergen management, verification and validation activities, and the use of root cause analysis to investigate and resolve non-conformities. In addition, the course explores quality management systems, the principles of quality management, and the roles of quality assurance and quality control.

Through practical exercises and real-world examples, learners will develop the skills needed to monitor, inspect, and maintain food safety and quality standards effectively.
