The Children’s Trust Fund Alliance is the national leader in strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect. We support and convene a dynamic network of state children’s trust and prevention funds—catalysts for positive, systemic change in policies, practices, and community conditions that promote the well-being of children, families, and communities.
The Alliance provides high-quality trainings, publications, and tools to help broad audiences understand the role each of us plays in building protective factors and supporting families. We offer multiple training opportunities for professionals, policymakers, community members, and parents, and we lead a national network of more than 2,400 certified trainers who use the Alliance’s curriculum to equip front-line practitioners with a strengths-based, prevention-focused approach.
Our groundbreaking work on child neglect prevention has transformed understanding of how communities and systems can either support or unintentionally neglect families. We provide actionable tools that help partners across the social ecology take meaningful steps toward promoting well-being and preventing harm.
The Alliance also champions strong, authentic partnerships with parents through meaningful roles, structures, and ongoing collaboration. We engage with systems, organizations, researchers, and policymakers nationwide to elevate prevention as a central focus in all areas that touch the lives of families. In all collaborations across multiple fields, the Alliance serves as a clear and unwavering voice for prevention.
We maintain a solid organizational foundation—including strong governance, expert staff, and diverse funding—to ensure the Alliance’s contributions continue to grow. Our Board of Directors plays an active role in oversight, policy, and organizational direction as we work alongside funders and partners who share our mission and vision.
