Introduction to the FIDIC Emerald Book

This training begins with an introduction to FIDIC as an organization and the Federation's objectives. We will then explore the general provisions, focusing on key definitions. The roles of the parties will be clarified, and we will then move on to project management, including project initiation, completion deadline, delay in completion, and closure, along with various aspects, including, but not limited to, testing, work acceptance, and defect correction. The training will explore measurement procedures, including variation management, the different contract termination scenarios, claims by both parties, and dispute resolution mechanisms. The training will address the specifics of the "Contractual Conditions for Underground Works" model (Emerald Book).The training will be enriched with practical examples, helping participants understand the different aspects of the Contract.
