This course had been designed to share with the participants the requirements and procedures to be able to conduct DAB. FIDIC has now brought DAB (1999) to DAAB (2017) on a standing format, enhancing their role in a construction project. The course mainly focuses on legal and contractual backgrounds, mechanisms, project management features and procedural rules. Throughout the course, a case study based on a real case will be presented. Some exercises, homework will be given to be completed between sessions. Sharing of best practices between the participants and the trainers will also be organized. The course is built upon the new features of the 2017 FIDIC Forms and the sessions highlight the main differences between the 1999 Conditions of Contracts and the new 2017 Edition as to DAB/DAAB.
