Contract Management and Administration (White and Green Book)

This course provides a comprehensive foundation in FIDIC contract management and administration, addressing key principles, roles, responsibilities, and best practices throughout the contract lifecycle. It explores contractual procedures, risk allocation, the correct selection of FIDIC contract forms and their respective colors, as well as the fundamental principles and the Golden Principles that underpin the FIDIC suite.

Building on this, the program offers an in-depth study of the FIDIC White Book, focusing on the contractual relationship between clients and consultants, including scope of services, remuneration, liability, and risk allocation. In addition, participants gain insight into the FIDIC Green Book and its use in smaller projects, as well as FIDIC tendering procedures and recommendations for effective procurement. The course also includes a comparative analysis of the FIDIC 1999 and 2017 Editions, highlighting major updates and their practical implications for project stakeholders.
