CEA Accreditation Workshops are required for sites seeking initial accreditation and reaccreditation. The workshops include a discussion of accreditation in general, specific CEA procedures, the self-study process, and writing the self-study report. Participants receive a copy of the Accreditation Handbook and the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions, which are reviewed and discussed at the workshop. Sites are subject to the version of the standards which are used in the workshop that they attended to meet this requirement.
