Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society

Alpha Sigma Lambda’s aim is to recognize the special achievements of adults who accomplish academic excellence while facing competing interests at home and work. It is dedicated to the advancement of scholarship and recognizes high scholastic achievement in an adult student’s career.

To be inducted into George Fox University's Alpha Sigma Lambda Chapter (Gamma Omega Delta), a student must meet the following criteria:

• Be a nontraditional first-degree seeking undergraduate student in George Fox Digital.
• Have a minimum of 24 graded course credits taken at George Fox University, not including transfer credits
• Be in the last semester of a cohort program and an active student
• Land in the top 20% GPA of all eligible students out of a 4.0 scale

The Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society is officially recognized by the Association of College Honor Societies as the honor society for adult learners, representing the top non-traditional students at over 300 institutions throughout the United States.
