SDG ACTION BOOTCAMP 2021

Periyar University Business Incubation Confederation (BIC@PU), a state recognized Incubator, (registered as Section 8 company under Companies Act 2013; recognised as one of the Top Incubators in Tamil Nadu, funded by Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute Tamil Nadu and hosted by Periyar University, Tamil Nadu) has organised INDIA's FIRST INCLUSIVE ACTION BOOTCAMP ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS of United Nations from 16.08.2021 to 22.08.2021 in Virtual Mode. The bootcamp focused on developing Grassroot Innovations in SDG and provided experiential learning on the same.

BIC@PU focuses on SDG, Food Technology, Rural Technology and Nutrition Technology as thrust areas for Incubation. BIC@PU offers Physical Incubation supports as well as Virtual Incubation supports in Mentoring, Networking and Linkages, Prototyping and Product Development, Financial Insights and Linkages, Access to wide network of Collaborators and Ecosystem Contributors and More. The Incubator also has a dedicated 18000 sq.ft area for Workspace, Laboratories, Fully functional Bakery Unit, Hot Extrusion Line and Energy Bar Unit for the respected Food Productions and Testing.
