2026 International Business Case Competition

The International Business Case Challenge Competition is a selective academic competition for students in MGMT 80 (Global and Cultural Environment of Business), in which selected participants collaborate in mixed teams from Santa Clara University and San José State University to analyze and present solutions to a complex global business case within 24 hours. The competition emphasizes real-world business analysis, cross-university collaboration, and engagement with Silicon Valley professionals while developing skills in global strategy, problem-solving, and teamwork. Launched as a pilot in 2023, the event has become an annual program that challenges students to evaluate socio-cultural, political-legal, economic, and technological forces shaping multinational business decisions.
