Ideation Bootcamp

Entrepreneurship has become essential in reviving and sustaining the economy of any nation and the world at large. Young innovative minds and students in particular are quintessential part of developing an entrepreneurship ecosystem and hence utilising their resources is of paramount importance. In order to provide a conducive environment for student entrepreneurs, MCC initiated Entrepreneurship Development Cell and registered it under Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, Government of Tamil Nadu (TN-EDII) in September 2020.

The main objectives of MCC- EDC are:

To create awareness about entrepreneurship, provide skill development, conduct innovation contests and mentor students
To provide space and basic infrastructure for student community to discuss, interact with successful entrepreneurs/ businessmen, metamorphose their innovative proposals, incubate their ideas/ prototypes, generate IP and execute their business/start-up plans.
The staff-coordinator facilitates various activities liaising with TN-EDII and identifies the potential student entrepreneurs.
